I love the flexibility of oils paints and work on both stretched canvas and panels while painting my rustic and realistic landscape paintings. I depict rustic scenes or natural scenery paintings by expressing how those scenes make me feel and bringing those feelings to the canvas.
Traveling brings a world of images to my mind as I look at the native landscape of the area. Painting it in a realistic manner helps me bring the life I saw to the canvas and enjoyment by others.
And some days are just meant for floral art or the quiet still life. Color is everywhere and examining the colors in flowers and items in a still life change, in every type of light. I love the joy and the challenge of each type of painting I create.
